    Écologie de l'apocalypse.Dominique Viel - 2006 - Paris: Ellipses.

    Sounds and objects.Massimiliano Viel - 2012 - Technoetic Arts 9 (2-3):233-238.
In recent years, we are facing an increase in the use of the word ‘object’ in reference with studies about sound perception. It is suggested that this might be due to the adoption of a visual paradigm, also supported by the noun-based structure of our natural language, which is not adequately discussed. A change in the paradigm from ‘object’ to ‘pattern’ has been proposed.

Association Between Financial Conflicts of Interests and Supportive Opinions for Erectile Dysfunction Treatment.Rafael Boscolo-Berto, Massimo Montisci, Silvia Secco, Carolina D’Elia, Rosella Snenghi, Guido Viel & Santo Davide Ferrara - 2016 - Journal of Bioethical Inquiry 13 (3):439-448.
A conflict of interest is a situation in which a person has competing loyalties or interests that make it difficult to fulfil his or her duties impartially. Conflict of interest is not categorically improper in itself but requires proper management. A SCOPUS literature search was performed for publications on the efficacy/safety of Phospho-Di-Esterase Inhibitors for treating erectile dysfunction. A categorization tool was used to review and classify the publications as supportive/not-supportive for the discussed active ingredient and reporting or not reporting (...)

Wie viel ist Geschichte wert? Das Haus der Europäischen Geschichte in Aussprachen des Europäischen Parlaments zum EU-Haushalt 2012 aus lexikalisch-the matischer Sicht.Jacek Makowski - 2013 - Acta Universitatis Lodziensis. Folia Germanica 9.
As a cultural institution for debate on European history, the House of European History in Brussels is a perfect example for the complementary relation between history and the present, since its main aim, as it is being claimed, “gives visitors the opportunity to learn about European history and to engage them in critical reflection about its meaning for the present day”. The main focus of the article is the analysis of the speeches of German and Austrian MPs presented in the (...)

Crit. 48e4.Markus Kersten - 2018 - Philologus: Zeitschrift für Antike Literatur Und Ihre Rezeption 162 (2):232-246.
The paper concerns the textual form of the sentence Crit. 48e4. A return to the transmitted infinitive πεῖσαι is proposed; at the same time, it is demonstrated that the sentence is thereby ambiguous. Yet, it can be shown that this ambiguousness does not render the passage meaningless. In fact, the transmitted text is interpretively extremely rich, because with the indefinite infinitive a central problem of the dialogue, the demand ‘to convince or obey’, is accentuated in a distinctive way, namely in (...)

Der Konstruktivismus – viel Lärm um nichts? Eine erkenntnistheoretische Kontroverse und ihre Folgen.Horst Siebert - 2006 - Zeitschrift für Religions- Und Geistesgeschichte 58 (1):49-61.
The constructionism is an epistemology that is discussed in several social and educational disciplines. The key thesis is that the human world is based on perception and is a construction of a reality that lies outside of the knowing subject. Everything that can be known of this external reality is created by the observer. The following article describes the tradition of this epistemological position of skepticism and the different perspectives and,,schools" of this constructionist paradigm. Some unsolved questions are discussed, and (...)

With your eyes again fixed on the speaker, and the movement of her lips a clear sense of the source of the sound will (...)

    Matthew's Narrative Christology: Three Stories.M. Eugene Boring - 2010 - Interpretation: A Journal of Bible and Theology 64 (4):356-367.
Matthew's Christology is theocentric, presenting God's rule as manifest in the life of Jesus as an alternative to the sovereignty and power of this-worldly rulers. This Christology is expressed in the narrative mode. It can be appreciated and appropriated better in the context of the narratives in which contemporary interpreters are embedded.
